Emmerdale fans are convinced that Moira Dingle will soon be released from prison, and it’s all thanks to an unlikely villager

Moira, played by Natalie J Robb, is being set up for the heinous crimes committed by Celia and her adoptive son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). The plot thickens as Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) coerces Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) into planting incriminating evidence at Moira’s cottage, all part of his plan to seize control of Butler’s Farm.

In Monday’s episode (February 9), Joe and Robert had a heated confrontation over their clandestine involvement in framing Moira. Despite the escalating tension, Joe confidently assured that Moira would eventually be exonerated.

“Moira’s banged up because of the evidence we planted,” Robert pointed out during another secretive rendezvous, asking, “Surely there’s something we can do to get her off?”
Joe responded with a sly grin, “Look, Celia and Ray, they’ve been up to their breeches in nefarious deeds, okay? They’re on form. I’m pretty sure Moira wasn’t their first victim,” before adding: “Absolutely. Look, she’ll be back in the pub, assaulting locals in no time”, reports the Daily Star.
Later, Joe and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) delved deeper into their plot against Moira.
Graham has revealed he’s seen the video footage showing Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) killing John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), and he wasn’t best pleased with Joe’s decision to use the material as leverage to force the Sugdens into handing over their portion of the farmland.
“That farm is the Sugden legacy. Robert and Victoria will fight to the death to keep it,” Graham warned Joe with a serious expression.

Joe outlined his ambitious scheme to seize control of the farm and, as he put it, “Secure a future for the family,” but Graham remained distinctly unimpressed by Joe’s blackmail tactics against the Sugdens.
Graham made his position clear to Joe: “If I’m to live here and be part of this future, I need to know what’s going on.”

He continued, “I’ll always play for your team, but I may not always play by the same rules.”
Emmerdale viewers are now speculating that Graham will assist Robert in getting Moira released from custody and clearing her name, which would represent a significant setback for Joe’s plans.
Taking to X, one viewer posted: “I’d love for Graham to go against Joe #Emmerdale.”

“Can Graham show Joe who really is Boss # Emmerdale?”, one fan implored, while another wrote: “I would pay for Graham to be backing Sugdens due to someone we don’t know about, hence why he watched and seemed to know about the video #Emmerdale, and yes I’m being delulu.”
