Coronation Street is currently filming the aftermath of Summer Spellman’s baby storyline.

Summer recently discovered she’s pregnant with boyfriend Aaron’s baby, and after Billy believed she was going to terminate the pregnancy, the young couple considered giving the child up for adoption.

But with Aaron’s father needing £10,000 to go to rehab, and a woman named Esther offering that exact amount to take the baby off them, Summer decided to go with it.

The filming photos show Summer at Esther and Mike’s door, at Christmas time, with an envelope that’s seemingly full of cash.

Is she just accepting the cash that she’s been promised? We think it’s unlikely, since Esther agreed to give them the money as soon as possible, in order to get Aaron’s dad into rehab as quickly as possible.

Or, has Summer has changed her mind – and is she returning the money after deciding to keep the baby? All will be revealed in due course…

This is a big storyline for Summer actress Harriet Bibby, who somehow finds the time away from the soap for her second job as a music teacher.

“On my weekends, I’m a singing teacher. On Saturday mornings I teach kids at a musical theatre club,” she said.

“I was a student and I’ve just carried on as I love it. It’s really fun and the kids are great. The kids I teach watched me get slimed on CBBC – and they loved that!”
