Casualty teases death of major character as collision causes chaos in teaser trailer for the BBC hospital drama
CASUALTY is pulling out all the stops as it teases fans with the death of one of the fan favourites in a new teaser trailer.
The short clip gives just a hint of what’s to come as trouble once again arrives at the hospital – with a guarantee that at least one of the regulars will get the chop.

But, in order to keep everyone guessing, there’s a list of people it could possibly be – including Lily, who in the trailer is seen sprawled on a car park floor with her life clearly hanging in the balance.
Gem is look looking stunning as Iain is given the task of trying to help the injured Lily and keep her alive – will he succeed?
However, nothing is ever that simple at Holby, and we know that no matter what happens, it’s sure to be a tearjerker.
A show source told Digital Spy in February: “It looks like one of our favourite heroes could be about to meet their maker but Casualty are keeping this shocking storyline close to their chests.
“We have a stunt coming up in April where someone gets run over. This will be very shocking because of who it is, but I can’t say anything more.
The new series promises to be explosive – with at least one character dying“We have got something else following on from that which is also very shocking as well.
“We will have two episodes on the trot which will both involve two of our regular characters.”

While at least one cast member is bowing out of the show, Holby City Hospital is about to get a lot more crowded with a host of faces starting or returning to the show.
It was recently revealed that actor Michael Greco – best known for playing Beppe di Marco in EastEnders from 1998 until 2002 – is joining the cast.
Announcing the news on Twitter last month, the 46-year-old actor said: “Am delighted to be joining the cast of @BBCCasualty.”
He added: “Such an amazing show that’s maintained such incredibly high standards.”
Michael’s agency, Winterson’s, offered further details, tweeting that the actor would be playing a character called Phil Paterson on the medical drama.
It is unclear, however, if he is playing a full-time member of the cast or if he will simply appear as a patient in one episode.
As well as Michael, Eastenders legend Pam St Clement will also be returning after winning over fans last year.
The 74-year-old actress first appeared in the medical drama as Sally Hodge in August last year to coincide with its 30th Anniversary.
