At home, Rocco tells his mom he ended up at the pier because he was following Britt. He stayed hidden, saw Britt meet with Lucas, and, after the doctor left, Agent Cullum showed up.

Rocco details what he recalls: the fight between Britt and Cullum, and then Cullum and Jason, who later showed up. He admits he picked up the gun Jason knocked out of Cullum’s hand and shot Cullum to save Jason. Rocco breaks down in tears in his mother’s arms.
Rocco goes on to explain that Nathan showed up, and Jason took the gun and told Nathan to get him out of there. Lulu says nobody must know he was at the pier, and that she’ll take care of everything.
Two Critical Patients
At the hospital, Portia tells jumpy Britt that while her CT scan is clear, she appears to be on the verge of a panic attack. Britt takes deep breaths and assures her that she’s fine, but her life depends on what is happening with Marco and Agent Cullum. Portia leaves and soon returns with news. Marco is still being worked on, and Cullum is stable but critical.

In trauma, Liz and Isaiah have closed two of the three stab wounds Marco endured and find themselves in the home stretch. However, the doctor notes there is too much internal bleeding, and Marco’s blood pressure begins to drop.

In the OR, Lucas continues to work on saving Cullum and manages to remove the bullet from his back.
Later, out of surgery, Lucas informs Jack and two other agents that they managed to save Cullum, who is in recovery and stable condition. Lucas then walks off to try calling Marco again, only to reach his voicemail.

Liz later finds Lucas, and he can see by her face that something is wrong.
Danny and Charlotte Go For Help
At her office, Alexis leaves Danny a message and begs him to call her when he gets it.
Charlotte and Danny show up at Carly’s and tell her Jason is in danger, and Valentin is the only one who can help him.
Valentin comes down, and Danny fills him in on what he knows: that the WSB issued a warrant for his dad, but nobody knows why. Danny then gets a call from his grandma and lets her know that he’s OK and with friends. She gives him an update: his father’s been arrested for shooting Ross Cullum, who issued the arrest warrant. Danny begs his grandma to help his dad; it’s what his mom would want.

Danny passes on the news about Jason, the shooting, and Cullum to the others. Carly says Jason would never shoot an agent unless he had to. Valentin says it’s time for the kids to go home, as Danny won’t be allowed to see Jason tonight. Carly promises to talk to Danny soon about his dad.
Alone, Carly wants to go to the station, but Valentin says the WSB won’t let anyone see Jason. He says Jason’s options are to be sent to Steinmauer or go missing in transit and become a fugitive. Carly asks how they make the latter happen.

The WSB Collect Jason
At the PCPD, Dante asks Jason why he shot Cullum. Jason says nothing, and Dante exits the interrogation room when Turner shows up in the squad room.

Turner asks Dante if Marco’s attack and Ross Cullum’s being shot could be connected. Dante says it’s possible, and Jason is in custody for the shooting. Justine says this is sloppy on Jason’s part, and Dante says he’s not talking and guesses this has to do with Britt, who was on the scene and had a head injury. Turner says they need to get her statement.
Back in interrogation, Nathan tells Jason, “It’s done.” However, he doesn’t know if there is a way out for Jason.
Later, Dante sends Nathan to get a statement from his sister, and Alexis arrives to see her client, Jason. She heads in to see him and tells Jason that Danny sent him, and he’s had quite an evening. After they left him, they found Marco Rios stabbed in her office.

Alexis doesn’t know if Marco is alive, and Danny slipped off when the cops showed up and went to a friend’s. Danny is the one who begged her to come here to help him.
Back in the squad room, Jack and the agents show up at the PCPD to take Jason into custody and extradite him immediately.
Jack has Jason shackled and tells him this order came straight from the top and that he’s not obligated to tell him where he’s going. He’d better hope Cullum doesn’t die. Jack offers to call Carly for him, but Jason says no. It’s better that she and Danny not see him, or face saying goodbye.
Meanwhile, Alexis tells the other agents that this violates her client’s rights and that he hasn’t stood trial. Justine also argues against extraditing Jason, but one agent says this can be seen as an international incident, so it’s in their right to take him.
Jack walks Jason out, and Alexis tells him that she’ll fight this. Jason asks her to look after Danny, as she is his guardian. Jason is then dragged off, and Dante leaves to deal with the transfer.
Sidwell Gets Unsettling News
At Wyndemere, Sidwell and Ava are hanging out, and she gives him a history of the people who have taken a dive off the parapet, including herself. Ava flirts with Jenz, and they soon end up in a kiss.

Before they can get more passionate, Chase interrupts and says he needs to speak to Sidwell. He asks, “Do you know any reason someone would want to hurt your son?”

Saying Goodbye
Back at the hospital, Liz tells Lucas they should go talk in the breakroom. He begs her to just tell her what has happened, and she reveals Marco is dead.

Liz takes Lucas to see Marco and explains that he was brought in right after he went up to the OR. The nurse tells him what she knows about his being found with multiple stab wounds, and he had just lost too much blood. Liz steps out to give Lucas a moment to say goodbye.

Nathan arrives to see his sister and asks how she got hurt. Britt explains that there was a struggle on the pier; Agent Cullum was harassing her. The struggle caused her to fall and hit her head. He asks if she knows who shot Cullum? Britt says Jason did, but only to protect her. She demands to see Jason.
Lucas sits with Marco and blames himself for his death, for putting him in such a dangerous position. He sobs how much he loves him, kisses him on his forehead, and says goodbye.
Lucas walks out, and Sidwell arrives with Ava. Isaiah tells Sidwell that Marco did not survive, and Sidwell demands to see his son. He takes off for the trauma unit.

Back at the PCPD, as Jason is being taken to a transport van, Dante tells the agent that if something goes wrong from here, it’s on them. That’s when Britt shows up with Nathan and calls out to Jason.

In the Show’s Final Moments
Britt learns that Jason is being extradited somewhere they aren’t being told about. Britt is in tears and says she loves him. Jason says he loves her too, and then he’s shoved in the van by the agents.
Valentin tells Carly that Jason will be sent to Switzerland, and he will contact some powerful friends to help him escape and go on the run. Carly leaps into his arms and thanks him.
Lulu brings Rocco into the hospital and asks Liz to help with the boy’s hand injury, claiming it was a kitchen accident.

Sidwell sits with his son and sobs, telling him how proud he is of him, and he loves him. He vows he will avenge Marco’s death and his mother’s by fulfilling his promise to make Sonny suffer.
Ava finds Lucas outside the hospital. He refuses to have this conversation with her, as he’s not ready to grieve. Ava comforts him as he cries on her shoulder.
Back at the PCPD, Alexis and Turner are both up in arms that Jason’s constitutional and human rights are being violated, and both vow to stop them. Jack says it’s too late and that they will never see Jason again.

Outside, Charlotte and Danny arrive, and the boy sees his dad in the van and learns the WSB is extraditing him and they won’t say where too. Jason tells Danny he loves him, and the boy says it back to his dad. Jason tells his son to remember what he told him.
Danny flips out as the van drives off, and Nathan and Dante hold him back.
On the next General Hospital, Ioss tells Britt that Jason trusted them, so they need to trust one another. Sonny tells someone he has information that can change something.
