Though the cabbie had nothing but fond memories of their romance, his wife Sally was quick to identify Trisha as an abuser. At first, Tim was reluctant to sully his memories, but eventually seemed to realise that the relationship was inappropriate.

Meanwhile, teenager Will Driscoll has also been groomed by his sports coach Megan, with the villain’s actions finally exposed this month. The storyline will soon tie in with Tim’s experience, as he finally understands the severity of his situation.
In next week’s episodes, Sally expresses her support to Ben Driscoll about Will’s abuse. She explains that Tim was also groomed by an older woman when he was just a child.
Feeling vulnerable, Tim tries to play down his past but the landlord tells him he’s deluded. Later, Tim admits to Sally that he is questioning his old relationship and decides to contact Trisha for some answers.
As the week continues, Tim becomes irritated that he hasn’t heard anything back from Trisha. Sally suggests she’s hiding away because she’s knows she’s guilty. Will Tim get the answers he needs?

Speaking previously about the two storylines, Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks explained that Tim will notice “how young and vulnerable [Will] actually is”, which will be “quite an instrumental part of that story”.
“He will start to realise that actually what happened to him wasn’t right and wasn’t acceptable. So we’ve got quite a way to go with it, but it’s going to be a really interesting journey to take Tim on, because he’s come from a completely separate place to people like Sally and Steve, who all recognised quite early doors that what had happened to Tim was wrong.”

She added: “We really use both stories to make sure that Tim knows what happened in his past was not acceptable.”
