Ric Scores Points With Liz on Valentine’s Day — Plus, Lucas Learns the Whole Truth About His Beau

Valentine’s Day in Port Charles is an intriguing mix of third wheels, shocking revelations and… axe throwing? Yup, that about sums it up. It’s a good news/bad news scenario for Liz, who actually has a date for the big day… but Ric decides the aforementioned axe-throwing venue is the best place to take his dressed-to-kill lady. Michael and Jacinda are throwing axes as well, but she’s far more into it than is Liz… at first. But Liz throws herself into things, admitting she could use more fun in her life. Ric says that can be arranged before planting a kiss on her!
Felicia Updates Maxie
At the hospital, Maxie is rocked by the news that Nathan is alive and well and living in Port Charles, and so is Britt. Nathan is equally shocked to hear that Maxie has awakened. (Wait until he finds out that despite her extended coma, she didn’t suffer a bit of muscle atrophy!) Debates rage about whether Nathan and Maxie should reunite, with Obrecht wanting to push them together ASAP.

Jason and Carly are at the Brown Dog discussing Michael’s custody agreement when Spinelli interrupts with news that Maxie’s recovered. Carly exits, leaving Spinelli to tell Stone Cold that while thrilled his lady love has awakened, he can’t help but fear he’ll lose her to Nathan.

Jason urges Spinelli to sit back and let Maxie make a choice, which might just surprise him. Jason exits after receiving a series of emojis from Britt, which lets him to to meet her at the boathouse. Once he leaves, Obrecht enters to thank Spinelli for having taken such good care of Maxie and James… adding that his services are no longer required. As for Jason and Britt, they wind up sharing a kiss after she acknowledges a new awareness that time is fleeting.
Lucas Lashes Out at Marco
Marco and Lucas’ fight picks up where it left off. Carly’s brother is in shock as Marco admits that his dad was threatening Britt and he was aware of it. Lucas can’t believe he spent months defending his beau, even cutting Carly out of his life for not accepting him. Realizing that being close to Sidwell was the real reason they moved to Wyndemere, Lucas accuses Marco of having manipulated him from the very start.

But Lucas softens at least a bit when Marco plays the dead mother card. He claims the reason he agreed to work for his father was to make Sonny pay for Natalia’s death. “You don’t want justice,” Lucas sighs. “You want revenge.” Marco begs his boyfriend to give him time to wrap this project, promising he can keep Britt safe in the process. Lucas seems to agree as they hug, but has he really given in?

They arrive to see Molly’s dad kiss Liz, and Kristina gets a perhaps jealous look as she watches Jacinda and Michael. Brook Lynn and Chase reflect on Valentine’s Days past. He worries the Brown Dog isn’t romantic enough, but she reminds him it’s about them, not the place. Ava dines with Sidwell and Lucy. When questioned about the company she’s keeping by Alexis, Ava says the Ric fiasco made her think about the kind of man she wants in her life, Lucy be damned!
