General Hospital’s Adrian Anchondo Exit: DAYS Star Boyfriend Colton Little Pays Tribute

Following the March 25 episode of General Hospital where Marco died, the ill-fated character’s portrayer, Adrian Anchondo, received a loving tribute from his boyfriend, Colton Little (Andrew, Days of Our Lives), who took to Instagram to express his pride in his real-life love’s achievements.
The Power of Love
“Having a front row seat to Adrian’s journey on General Hospital taught me so much,” wrote Little, who has been appearing on DAYS on and off since 2022. “I watched him take the high road over and over, I witnessed his work ethic and sacrifices, and I got to see how much love he shared with the cast and crew. Marco may be gone (for now) but I’m grateful I get to watch Adrian continue to shine outside of Port Charles. Onwards and upwards, baby boy.”
After appearances in series like Looking, The Rookie, and FBI: Most Wanted, Anchondo made his daytime debut when he joined the cast of GH in the role of Marco Rios. The attorney was introduced as a new love interest for Lucas (Van Hansis), but the fact that his father was the villainous Sidwell (Carlo Rota) — and he was involved with his dad’s shady dealings — meant it wasn’t smooth sailing for the couple. Tragically, Marco’s attempt to do the right thing led to his brutal murder at the hands of Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), his father’s partner-in-crime.

In real life, Anchondo’s romance with Little is still going strong after the couple went public back at the end of 2025. “This Christmas made my heart pop,” the actor said at the time when she shared a gallery of photos from his and Little’s trip to Puerto Rico and Florida.
On the day that Marco’s demise was broadcast, Anchondo posted a carousel of photos and video clips to his Instagram as he bid farewell to the soap and expressed his pride at being able to represent both the LGBTQI and Latino communities during his time in Port Charles. Among the people he thanked in his post was his beau. “Thank you, Colton,” he said, “for being by my side, running lines, hyping me up, and holding me through the sad parts.”
In his Instagram Stories, Little also reposted a photo that Anchondo shared of himself, still covered in blood from the day’s shooting, making a peace sign with his hand in front of a GH promotional cast photo hanging on the wall at the studio. “Proud is an understatement,” Little wrote, including a flaming heart for emphasis.
