General Hospital Spoilers for Valentine’s Day: Jason and Britt’s Dilemma, Elizabeth and Ric’s Date and More

Valentine’s Day kicks off on the Friday, February 13 episode of General Hospital and continues into next week, and Soap Opera Digest has the inside scoop on what Cupid has in store for the citizens of Port Charles!
Love is on the Air
Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) have pledged not to give in to their feelings for one another given that before he “died,” he was married to Lulu’s best friend, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), who has been lingering in a coma since last summer and doesn’t even know that her hubby is back from the dead. But keeping each other at arm’s length has proved to be easier said than done. Lulu and Nathan share an intimate moment and have a heart to heart about their emotions. However, events taking place far from Port Charles are going to have a huge impact on what is brewing between Lulu and Nathan, and you won’t want to miss a second of the fallout when big news about Maxie’s health begins to trickle out! Things are about to get messy….
What should have been a very romantic day for Lucas (Van Hansis) and Marco (Adrian Anchondo) — their first Valentine’s Day together as boyfriend and boyfriend — is looking like it might be more doom and gloom than sunshine and roses now that Lucas has eavesdropped on an incriminating conversation between Marco and his dad, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Now that he knows that Marco is very much mixed up in Sidwell’s unsavory business, Lucas finds himself at a crossroads. He will open up about his dilemma to trusted pal Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and when he and Marco come face to face, Lucas has a big decision to make about how much to reveal to his live-in love about what he heard.

Opposite this, Michael (Rory Gibson) is in the mood for romance and he wants to show his new girlfriend, Jacinda (Paige Herschell), a good time by taking her out on a date. Lately, though, she’s been feeling insecure about her place in Michael’s life — can he convince her that he truly wants to move forward with their relationship? Expect Jacinda to spice things up by proposing a surprise of her own.
It’s been a long (long) time since Liz has been on a date, but she agreed to go out with her ever-hopeful ex-husband, Ric (Rick Hearst). That date is set to take place on Monday, February 16 — and while what Ric has planned for the two of them is not what Liz was expecting, that doesn’t mean she’s not ready to let down her hair and have some fun. Two decades after their love story began, could this be the start of a new era for “Liric” fans?
Another on-again duo that will take center stage next week is Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason (Steve Burton). Though they recently slept together again, circumstances are conspiring to keep them apart — namely, she’s been threatened by Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to keep her distance from the man she loves or else he’ll get rid of Jason the old-fashioned way (by killing him). But the heart wants what the heart wants, and on Valentine’s Day of all days, Britt wants to be with Jason. She decides to take a huge risk in the hopes of getting some quality alone time with her fella. If she succeeds, will the consequences be worth it?
