General Hospital Friday, February 13 Recap: Maxie Finds Out Nathan Is Alive – Lulu’s Phone Call Changes Everything

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, February 13, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) found out Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was alive. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) also got a stunning phone call that changed everything, so here’s how all the drama played out.
First on Friday’s episode, James West (Gary James Fuller) and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) hugged Maxie, who learned she’d been transferred to Boston for long-term care following a heart attack.
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) returned with baked goods and ran into Maxie’s arms once he saw she was awake.
Dr. Kumari (Sunkrish Bala) delivered a positive report to Spinelli and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) since the latest test results showed only a trace amount of the mysterious enzyme.
The doc expected it would be gone by the next round of bloodwork and didn’t anticipate any lasting complications from Maxie’s coma.
Spinelli and Felicia privately decided that Maxie’s mom should be the one to tell her about Nathan’s return from the grave.
Inside Maxie’s room, she encouraged Georgie and James to catch her up on everything she’d missed over the last six months.
James talked about his horseback riding lessons and mentioned that even “Dad” wanted to try.
Maxie assumed James meant Spinelli and thought it was sweet that her son was referring to Spinelli that way.
After sharing some tender moments with Spinelli, Maxie spoke to Felicia alone and learned James was actually referring to Nathan when he talked about his dad. Maxie looked puzzled as Felicia insisted that Nathan was alive.
At Lulu’s place, Nathan was eager to explore their feelings for each other, but he knew they needed to find a better time and place for kissing.
Nathan and Lulu were sharing a close moment when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) popped up to drop off Bailey Lou Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski).
After Nathan left, Brook Lynn grilled Lulu about what was going on between them.
Lulu hinted about wanting to pursue their feelings in private, but Brook Lynn warned that she’d lose Maxie forever if she went down this road with Nathan.
Spinelli phoned Lulu with updates on Maxie waking up, so a shocked Lulu relayed the news to Brook Lynn as well.
At Crimson, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrived to find Michael wasn’t wearing a shirt, so she assumed he’d been unable to control himself with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Hershell) again.
Jacinda appeared with a new shirt for Michael and assured Nina that the wardrobe change was due to a coffee spill.
Michael spoke with Nina alone in her office, where she extended her gratitude over the Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) custody compromise and agreed to go easy on Jacinda.
Afterward, Jacinda spoke to Michael about the custody agreement since she’d heard about it from Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
Although Jacinda’s criminal history was a factor, Michael was more concerned about his own legal drama since he could face charges in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Michael said he was planning on telling Jacinda about the custody compromise during their date this evening.
Although Michael wanted to surprise Jacinda with their location, she convinced him to let her take the lead and surprise him instead.
At Wyndemere, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) let Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) know that she regretted her ultimatum and wanted to keep enjoying his company, so it was OK if he continued spending time with Ava Jerome (Maura West), too.
Sidwell thought that was wonderful and suggested having dinner at the Metro Court, but he hinted about them having a stop to make first.
Back at Crimson, Ava opened up to Nina about seeing another side of Sidwell and wondered if she should let him pursue her.
Nina was against Ava’s involvement with Sidwell considering his dangerous reputation, but she did like seeing Ava’s latest glow.
Sidwell eventually arrived and got Ava to accept his Metro Court dinner invitation, but then she learned they’d have company.
Lucy appeared and announced that they had a table for three, so Sidwell cackled in amusement.
While Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was getting ready for her date with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) in the GH locker room, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) walked in and seemed distressed.
Liz pushed Lucas to open up, so he confessed to overhearing a conversation that made him believe Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) had been lying to him throughout their entire relationship.
Lucas worried that Marco was Sidwell’s right-hand man and mentioned that they’d discussed coercing someone.
Liz thought maybe Marco was trying to protect Lucas and suggested lying didn’t negate their entire romance.
Lucas felt terrible over how he treated Carly when she’d been right all along, but Elizabeth felt Carly would forgive him.
However, Liz also felt the need to dish out some tough love.
Since Sidwell was just as dangerous now as he was during Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) ordeal, Liz pushed Lucas to pack his bags and move out of Wyndemere tonight.
In the new lab at Wyndemere, Marco delivered Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) latest medical dose and watched her inject herself.
Britt wanted to see the stash and make sure all her medicine was being stored properly, so Marco said he’d pass her wishes along.
Britt lashed out at Marco for pretending to be a good guy and warned that it wouldn’t end well with Lucas when his lies were exposed.
Marco snapped at Britt and held onto the belief that they could all move on with their lives once the project was completed.
Later, Marco spoke to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) over the phone and mentioned wanting to revisit their Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) discussion.
Lucas showed up on the parapet as Marco wrapped up that shady conversation and locked eyes with his boyfriend.
Britt also made her way to the hospital, where Nathan filled her in on Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) claims that Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was alive.
General Hospital spoilers say Britt will have more messes to contend with, so stay tuned.
