Lulu, Nathan, and Maxie – The Emotional Minefield

The biggest emotional storyline Monday centers on Lulu Spencer, Nathan West, and Maxie Jones.

What the spoilers hint at is essentially the first real confrontation between Lulu and Maxie since Lulu realized her feelings for Nathan.

  • Lulu goes to Deception and admits the truth to Maxie.

  • A YouTube thumbnail with maxres quality
  • Instead of just confessing her feelings, she questions Maxie’s decision to choose Damian Spinelli.

  • That question alone is basically lighting a fuse.

Why it’s such a big deal:

  1. Maxie grieved Nathan for years.

  2. She rebuilt her life with Spinelli.

  3. Now the man she loved is alive but doesn’t remember their life together.

So Lulu’s confession isn’t just romantic drama—it’s reopening Maxie’s deepest wound.

The writers are clearly pushing toward a friendship fracture if this goes badly.

Nathan’s Position (Which Is Actually Reasonable)

Meanwhile, Nathan’s stance is surprisingly simple:

  • Maxie chose Spinelli.

  • He believes that decision should stand.

  • So he’s allowing himself to move on—with Lulu.

In soap logic, that’s practically healthy behavior 😄. Normally characters pine forever.

His mother, Liesl Obrecht, is the one trying to push him back toward Maxie, but Nathan seems determined not to force something that Maxie herself walked away from.

Even Nina Reeves appears to be playing peacekeeper in this situation.

Joss, Carly, and the Valentin Situation

Over in the Corinthos orbit, another crisis is brewing.

Josslyn Jacks discovers that Carly Spencer is secretly hiding Valentin Cassadine.

Her reaction?

A 24-hour ultimatum demanding Carly get rid of him.

This is classic Joss—protective but impulsive.

The real twist happens when Joss goes straight to Jason Morgan and tells him everything.

That’s huge because Jason’s reaction determines whether:

  • Valentin becomes a target

  • Carly gets dragged into danger

  • Or Jason quietly lets the situation continue

Spoilers suggest Jason might actually believe Carly is safer with Valentin than with Jack Brennan.

Britt and Brennan – A Dangerous Conversation

At the hospital, Britt Westbourne is dealing with the emotional aftermath of Delilah’s death.

That’s when Jack Brennan confronts her.

He wants information about her father’s project, but Britt pushes back by revealing the real threat behind everything:

Ross Cullum.

If Brennan takes that seriously, it could create an unexpected alliance between:

  • Jason

  • Brennan

  • Britt

  • Carly

  • Valentin

Which honestly would be one of the wildest anti-villain teams GH has done in years.

Why Monday’s Episode Is Important

March 9 looks like a setup episode where several long-building arcs collide:

  • Lulu vs Maxie friendship crisis

  • Nathan choosing his future

  • Joss exposing Carly’s secret

  • Jason deciding how to respond

  • Britt revealing the bigger villain

It’s basically positioning every character before a much larger conflict with Cullum.

💬 My question for you (because GH fans always have strong opinions):
If it comes down to it, who do you think Nathan should end up with?

  • Lulu

  • Maxie

  • Or neither (fresh start storyline)

I’m curious which side you’re on, because this triangle is about to split the fandom.
