Lucy gives Sidwell an ultimatum

Lucy shows up at Wyndemere, hoping to spend time with him. But to her dismay, Ava is with him, who is in the middle of an online auction. When he leaves the room for a while, Lucy and Ava get into a spat, accusing each other of getting close to Sidwell for his money and connections.

When Sidwell returns, Ava is on her way out. He then asks Lucy what happened. After a bit of back-and-forth conversation, she tells him to choose either her or Ava. Sidwell, saying he doesn’t like anyone giving him an ultimatum. Lucy leaves, telling him that he’ll regret his decision.

Jason receives bad news

Felicia updates Jason about Anna’s condition and her claims about Faison being alive. He wonders if Anna was really telling the truth. But when Felicia mentions Peter and Obrecht, Jason starts to believe that someone is using Faison and others to manipulate Anna. Felicia also asks him to inform Jack, but he advises against it. He gives his reasons, which make her believe that it’s better not to inform WSB.

Dante gets a promotion

Dante arrives at Laura’s office, where she and Mac are waiting for him. They explain to Dante about Anna’s condition and that she isn’t stable enough to return to work. So, they tell him that he needs to take over Anna’s position as the new commissioner.

Jack works with Dante

Dante returns to his office, where he and Jack discuss Anna, speculating about a deeper conspiracy. Jack then shows him the photos that Emma received from her grandmother on Christmas, and suspects that they were fake. The two agree that Anna is in a lot more trouble than they originally thought.

Callum pays Carly a visit

At Carly’s house, Valentin says that he’s going to Wyndemere. But Carly calms him down, reasoning with him, saying that she doesn’t want to be the one to deliver any bad news to his daughter.

Later, Callum makes an unexpected visit to Carly at her house. He tells her that her relationship with Jack is keeping him distracted from doing his job to find Valentin. He also talks about Anna’s mental health being in a critical state. After he leaves, she informs Valentin about everything Callum said. Valentin then uses a burner phone to call the French authorities and confirm the news. Both speculate that someone might be staging the whole thing.

Emma makes a tough decision

While Emma is updating Gio on everything she learnt about Anna, Joss shows up and asks why she’s upset. Emma then tells her everything, which prompts Joss to start questioning her about Faison. But Gio stops her.

After Joss leaves, Emma explains that she has to go to California and inform her grandfather, Robert, in person. Gio expresses his wishes to join her, but Emma says that she has to take care of it on her own. As she prepares to leave, she admits to being scared. However, Gio reassures her, saying that they’ll handle everything together.
