At Forrester, an intern, Jamie, wants the reception desk job. Steffy admits she has someone in mind. Jamie remarks on RJ being back before exiting. Electra comes in and gushes about a trip with Ivy. Steffy tells her Dylan should apply to be an intern as she’s giving Jamie the reception job.
Electra next meets up with Will in the design office, where he breaks the news that Dylan at her share of his chicken teriyaki last night. She teases, “Am I that easily replaced?” Will promises to cook her something even better when she’s back from her business trip. Electra questions how Dylan wound up eating with him.
Will explains that Dylan was doing their laundry to help out, so he invited her to join him. Electra doesn’t want her over-stepping or getting too comfortable in his house. She decides, “I will handle it with Dylan. Don’t worry.”
In her apartment, Dylan applies for a job online, getting frustrated by the requirements for teaching jobs. She gets on the phone and still has no luck.
Hope’s Appeal
Hope stops by the cliff house to see Taylor, who is surprised to see her. Hope admits she’s there to talk about her dad, “About the two of you.” Taylor’s taken aback to discover that she wants to discuss how they feel about each other.
Taylor plays dumb, so Hope tells her Deacon opened up to her and Deke about how much he cares for her. She wants her to know that her dad is a great guy… basically the kind of guy you’d want to look out for you. If there were to be a future for them, Hope would support it.
