Casualty star announces surprise baby news in heartwarming new pictures
Congratulations are in order for Casualty star Naomi Wakszlak, who has welcomed a baby. It wasn’t known that the star, known for playing Indie Jankowski, was expecting a child.
However, she heartwarmingly revealed the sweet news to her followers today, sharing two adorable pictures with the newborn on Instagram.
“.05-04-26. Everything is different and maybe it’s better actually and I can’t wait to tell you everything kid so LISTEN UP!!” Naomi wrote in the caption.

Friends and fans have sent their warm wishes in the comments, co-star Sarah Seggari (Rida Amaan) writing: “The happiest news ever ever ever I’m sooo proud of youuuuuu.”
Kirsty Mitchell (Faith Dean) added: “Congratulations angel face. Loads and loads of love and hugs to you all x,” while Barney Walsh (Cameron Mickelthwaite) shared two heart emojis.

Naomi first appeared in Casualty in late 2024 as paramedic Indie before joining properly the following year, the star saying at the time that it was a “huge honour to work” on the soap.
In other news, Casualty is set to return to screens this weekend after a few weeks off air due to various musical shows and sports fixtures on BBC One.
The series will continue its ‘Learning Curve’ boxset storyline, with the ED’s future under threat after failing two CQC inspections – and the next episode promises another “make-or-break” inspection.
