Emmerdale’s Bear Wolf to suffer traumatic flashback in trial aftermath
Emmerdale‘s Bear Wolf struggles to cope during his first day working alongside Jai Sharma at the depot next week, after his boss inadvertently triggers a horrifying flashback to his nightmare at Celia Daniels’ farm.
Following on from the shock outcome of the trial that saw Bear, Paddy Dingle and Dylan Penders in the dock for Ray Walters’ murder, Bear is back home and attempting a fresh start by working at Caleb Miligan’s depot. But after everything he’s endured, is starting a new chapter easier said than done?

Attempting to put the past behind him, Bear begins work at the depot alongside downbeat Mandy Dingle. Ever since rumours began to spread about Paddy being involved in a murder, her salon has struggled to bring in customers. Could her move to the depot be a sign that she’s been forced to give up her beloved business?
Encouraging his workers to put their best foot forward, Jai introduces a ‘Productivity Chart’ and ignites competition among the workers. Bear wins on day one and is boosted by his victory, but soon his good mood is shattered when Jai accidentally triggers a traumatic reminder of his time on Celia’s farm…

“Bear works so hard because he’s terrified of discipline,” reveals our source. “Working on the farm came attached with horrific punishment, so he’s trying extra hard at the depot. But these fears and the flashback cause him to spiral.”

Bear’s mood worsens and he ends up snapping at Mandy and Kerry Pollard. However, they soon realise the root of his problems when they see him flinch and cower at Jai’s raised voice. Bear’s trauma still runs deep…
Worried that Bear won’t be able to assimilate into normal working life again, Mandy and Kerry approach Jai and explain the situation. Realising that Bear is struggling and is not the same man that he was, Jai softens his approach.
With everyone at the depot eager to support Bear’s long journey to recovery, Jai reassures him that this job is a safe place, and nothing like Celia’s farm. Will Bear be able to cope with his new working life and move forward from the nightmare of his trafficking past?
