Coronation Street fans think they may have rumbled Summer Spellman’s next move after she started to discover the truth about Todd Grimshaw’s abuse hell.

As fans are aware, Theo came into Todd’s life back in March last year following a random meeting on the cobbles, and despite complications around Theo’s family life, with Theo revealed to be married with two children, his romance with Todd was quick to progress, and the undertaker soon found himself involved in a hard-hitting, coercively controlling, and abusive relationship.

After months of being controlled, as well as physically and mentally abused by his partner, Todd appeared to see what was really going on with the help of Billy Mayhew, and agreed to leave Theo.

However, after Billy’s unexpected death, aided by villain Theo, put a stop to Todd’s escape, he found himself trapped again with his abusive partner. But things seemingly came to a jarring halt when Theo recently held a knife up to Todd, and, admitting defeat, the broken undertaker encouraged him to do what he wanted to do.

It led to a very brief split between the pair, but a reconciliation this week led to Theo springing a surprise wedding on Todd in Wednesday’s (March 25) Corrie, having revealed to Gary that he’d never cancelled the registry office from when they were planning to tie the knot.

The newlyweds were then seen returning to the street, where Theo announced to those in the Rovers Return, including George, Christina Boyd, Summer Spellman and Sarah Platt, that he and Todd were married. But it wasn’t long before viewers saw Theo continuing to bring Todd down, this time by commenting on the photos from the ceremony taken by witness, Maria Windass.

It was then, during Thursday’s (March 26) visit to the cobbles, that George was seen expressing his concerns to Todd. And he was right to, as when Theo returned home, he thought Todd was in the bathroom and started hurling abuse through the door. When Todd walked through the flat door, having popped out for tea bags, George emerged from the bathroom and couldn’t bear to look at Theo, who was trying to laugh off the encounter.

George wasn’t buying it and was even more infuriated as Theo told Todd what to say to him. After George left, Theo aggressively clapped in Todd’s face, before going for a shower, leaving Todd as terrified as ever of his partner. George ended up sharing his discovery with Summer.

She struggled to believe what Todd was going through, with George describing the recent wedding as a “kidnapping”. They then thought back to a previous incident, where Todd ended up with a cut to his face, with Summer asking George if she thought Theo was responsible.

Later, George sent Todd a text to tell him there was a room for him at his, leaving Todd to question whether it was finally time to leave Theo for good. But with Theo among the five possible victims of a murder on the cobbles, set to take place next month, some Corrie fans think Summer could be behind his demise.

Taking to Reddit, Laurencec1993 said: “Summer will kill Theo… Theo essentially killed Billy and has been abusing her other dad Todd for ages. Imagine she found of both of these pieces of information at once, still caught up in her grief. It would be a real shock to see her character do something like that so I think it’s possible…”

Maximum_Lemon_5247 replied: “I hope so.. I want her to find out both of these pieces of information.” ReplyParticular917 commented: “That’s an excellent theory. I never even considered the Billy angle. Well done.” PewterCityPain added: “I think this could be the twist, but they’re gonna set it up to look like Maggie is gonna kill Megan in the episodes leading up, then when the episode comes Maggie misses her opportunity or backs out, and in the episode Summer kills Theo.”
