The show opens with a replay of Cullum and Jason struggling over the gun on the pier, and Rocco eventually getting a hold of it and shooting Cullum in the back.

The Cover-Up Begins

Nathan arrives, realizes what has happened, and tells Jason the cops are two minutes out. So what is the plan? Jason takes the gun from Rocco and says he’ll take care of Britt, who has a pulse. Nathan departs with the boy, and Jason wipes Rocco’s prints off the gun and fires it into the water.

The sirens are heard in the background as Jason wakes Britt up and tells her to tell the cops that she saw him shoot Cullum. Dante arrives and orders Jason to put his hands up and back away from Britt.

Dante cuffs Jason, who remains on his knees. Britt comes to, and Dante asks her who shot Cullum. She looks at Jason, but acts dazed and out of it. Dante says the questions can wake, and she needs to be taken to GH. He then takes Jason into the station.

Is Marco Dead?

Alexis walks into her office and finds Marco bleeding out on the floor, but still alive. She immediately puts pressure on his wounds and tells Danny to call 911.

Alexis talks to Marco and tells him to stay with her, but he passes out. Soon, Chase and another officer arrive, saying the paramedics are on their way. Chase investigates and realizes Marco has been stabbed multiple times.

The paramedics soon arrive, and Danny steps out into the hall to call someone to come pick him up.

Marco is eventually taken off by the paramedics, and Alexis gives Chase a statement about everything she knows, which isn’t much. Later, Chase tells Alexis that the PCPD has Jason, but she says they have another problem: Danny’s gone!

Outside, Danny jumps into Charlotte’s car and asks her to take him to Sonny, but she fears it will make things worse, since the police will expect that he or his dad would go there first. Charlotte has an idea and drives off.

Lulu Has Questions

Nathan takes Rocco home and, in the yard, asks the boy if anyone saw him or knew he was going to the pier. He’s clearly in shock, and Lulu opens the door. She sees her son’s bandaged hand, from the gun burns, and Rocco collapses into his mom’s arms in tears.

They head inside, and Rocco tells Nathan he doesn’t think anyone saw him. Lulu asks what is going on, and Nathan asks if anyone else is home. She says no, and she’s been home alone for hours. Nathan instructs her to tell people Rocco was with her all night, and she can’t tell anyone otherwise, not even Dante.

Rocco sits on the couch, and Nathan tells Lulu to trust him and do what he’s said. He warns her that something happened tonight, and Rocco was involved. He must get to the station and get ahead of this, but he will answer her questions in time. He says Dante can’t know what has happened because it would put him in an impossible position.

Rocco asks Nathan, “Is he dead?” Nathan says he’ll find out, but remember, he was never on the pier. Nathan departs, and Lulu tells Rocco they should look at his hand.

Lulu bandages Rocco up, and the boy remains fairly silent and in shock. She tells him that, as his mom, that nothing he does will change how much she loves him. She asks, “Tell me what happened.”

Jason Clams Up

Dante arrives at the station with Jason, hands the bagged gun to a cop, and asks the cop to have forensics run tests on it. Dante then places Jason under arrest and reads him his rights.

The commissioner takes him into the interrogation room and states that Jason is usually much more careful than this, that the events of tonight aren’t adding up, and that he needs to help him fill in some blanks.

Jason apologizes for hitting Dante but won’t talk without an attorney. Dante says he’s going to have to notify the WSB about what’s happened.

Nathan soon arrives and learns from another cop that Cullum is in surgery and, as far as he knows, still alive. Nathan heads into interrogation, and Dante steps out, but not before warning Jason that if Cullum dies, he’ll never see the light of day again.

Carly and Valentin’s Twisty Relationship

At Carly’s, she gets into it with Valentin for taking a risk and cooking them dinner, and how anyone could have walked in on him. When she compares him to Jack, Valentin is insulted.

Carly says they are both trained spies, trained liars, and compulsive users. Valentin says, unlike Jack, he’d never have recruited Joss, having a daughter of his own, but she isn’t sure she can take his word.

Carly admits it’s herself she’s angry with; she has horrible judgment and an even worse track record with men. Valentin points out that he could have taken Charlotte and left her at any time, but he stayed because he told her he wouldn’t leave her.

If she can’t have faith in him, Valentin says, trust her faith in Jason. He pledged to Jason that he would protect Carly no matter what, and they both know what Jason would do if he failed. Carly tells him that she believes he’ll get her through this, and not just because of Jason .

The Hospital Is Busy Tonight!

At the hospital, Lucas tells Liz that he and Marco are finally moving out of Wyndemere, which she’s glad to hear. Lucas is sure that Marco is the one.

Eventually, Britt is brought in and appears to be in shock. Portia tends to her and orders a CT scan to rule out any head trauma.

Meanwhile, Liz tells Lucas a WSB agent has been brought in with a gunshot to the back, gives him the info on what is known about his condition, and so Lucas heads to the OR.

In the elevator, Lucas tries to call Marco, gets his voicemail, and leaves a message about Cullum and Britt both being brought in. He asks him to text him when he gets this, so he knows that he’s safe. Lucas then heads into surgery.

Soon, Marco is brought in, and Liz sees him and thinks she should call Lucas. Isaiah says there is no time and tells them paramedics to get him into trauma one stat!

Lucas begins to work on Cullum in one OR, while Liz and Isaiah work to save Marco in Trauma.

Portia later returns to Britt with good news that her CT scan is clear. Britt asks to see Lucas, but Portia says he’s performing surgery on the WSB agent. Britt then asks her to call Marco, only to learn he has been admitted with multiple stab wounds.

As the show closes out, Liz and Isaiah stabilize Marco, and his vitals are holding steady. Cullum, on the other hand, is losing massive amounts of blood and his BP is dropping…

On the next General Hospital, Isaiah tells Liz, “Something’s not right.” Lucas fights to save Cullum’s life. Charlotte takes Danny to see Carly and get Valentin’s help.
